A disruption in train movement was observed in the Tashkent metro.
It is reported that at the "Paxtakor" station, due to an excessive number of people, the air became hot and several people lost consciousness.

On July 9 at around 20:02, a technical malfunction was detected in an old-type train traveling on the Chilonzor direction between the "Xalqlar do'stligi" and "Paxtakor" metro stations. This was reported by the State Unitary Enterprise "Tashkent Metro" in a statement.
According to the report, passengers were evacuated from the train to ensure safety, and the faulty train was towed to a technical inspection track using another train. As a result, train movement on the Chilonzor direction was halted for approximately 8 minutes.
"Currently, trains on all metro lines are operating according to the scheduled timetable. We apologize to our passengers for the temporary inconvenience caused," the statement reads.
According to a Zamon.uz correspondent at the scene, the air became overheated due to an excessive crowd at the "Paxtakor" station, and several people lost consciousness. Metro staff asked the public not to film the situation or share it on social networks.
However, the official report did not provide any information about the passengers who lost consciousness or their condition.
