Changes have been made in the leadership of the Ministry of Culture and the Cinematography Agency.
Four deputy ministers of culture have been dismissed from their positions, and new ones have been appointed. Hasan Salihov has become the President's representative for culture.

By decrees of the President of Uzbekistan, a number of appointments and changes have been made in the leadership of the Ministry of Culture and the Cinematography Agency under the ministry. This was reported by Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov.
According to him, Nodirbek Sayfullayev was appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Culture. Odiljon Abduqahorov assumed the position of Deputy Minister of Culture.
Jahongir Axmedov was appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Culture — Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture. He replaced Shuxratulla Rizayev in this position. Axmedov had been leading the Center for the Development of Children's Content since May 2025.
Additionally, Sanjar Bobojonov was appointed as Deputy Minister of Culture. In this regard, he was relieved of his position as Chief Inspector of the Presidential Representative's Division for Culture.
Due to transfers to other positions, Baxodir Axmedov and Avazxon Tajixanov were relieved of their posts as First Deputy Minister of Culture, while Murodjon Majidov and Yusufjon Usmonov were relieved of their posts as Deputy Minister of Culture.
Furthermore, Hasan Salihov was appointed as the Presidential Representative for Culture. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Director of the Creative Industry Park.
