Reports circulating on social media about an unknown individual committing inappropriate acts against an elderly woman have sparked widespread discussion. The Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate has issued an official statement regarding the incident.
According to the statement, on August 4, 2026, at approximately 05:30, in the Shirinobod neighborhood of the Yashnobod district, M.Kh., born in 2004, while intoxicated, committed indecent and disorderly acts against an elderly woman. After the incident, he attempted to flee the scene but was detained by citizens and handed over to internal affairs officers.
In connection with the incident, the Yashnobod District Internal Affairs Department's Investigation Unit has filed an administrative report against M.Kh. under Article 183 (petty hooliganism), Article 187 (consumption of alcoholic beverages in public places), and Article 194 (failure to comply with the lawful demands of an internal affairs officer) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
The collected documents have been submitted to the Yashnobod District Court on Criminal Cases for legal action to be taken.
