The bodies of the Uzbek citizens who died in a traffic accident in Kazakhstan have been brought back to their homeland.
The Consulate General in Almaty, in cooperation with the Migration Agency, took the necessary measures.
On August 22, a road traffic accident involving citizens of Uzbekistan occurred in the Aqsay area of the Shymkent–Samara highway passing through the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan, as previously reported.
As a result of the incident, three citizens of Uzbekistan died at the scene. According to preliminary information from local law enforcement agencies, the accident may have occurred when the driver fell asleep at the wheel and collided with a cargo vehicle.
According to a report by the Dunyo news agency (in Uzbek), the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty, in cooperation with the Migration Agency, took the necessary measures to promptly return the bodies of the deceased citizens to their homeland.
In cooperation with the competent authorities of Kazakhstan, the necessary documents were processed, and the bodies of the three deceased were transported to their place of permanent residence — Bekobod city, Tashkent region.
