Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the "New Uzbekistan" park.

 

 

In accordance with tradition, the high-ranking guest laid flowers at the foot of the Independence Monument.

 

 

During a brief tour of the complex, information was provided about the content and distinctive features of this architectural ensemble.

 

 

As previously reported, within the framework of the state visit, issues of further developing Uzbekistan–India strategic partnership relations and expanding multifaceted cooperation will be discussed.

 

The main events of the visit will take place tomorrow, on August 30.
