A street in Belgrade has been named "Tashkent".
Confidence was expressed that "Tashkent" Street will become a vivid symbol of the firm commitment to strengthening the friendship between the two peoples.
The next event within the framework of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Serbia was the ceremony of naming one of the streets of Belgrade “Tashkent”.
The leaders noted that this decision is an expression of the rapidly developing multifaceted Uzbekistan–Serbia relations, which today have been raised to the level of strategic partnership.
Confidence was expressed that Tashkent Street will become a vivid symbol of the firm commitment to further strengthening the ties of friendship and goodwill between the two peoples.
