On October 6, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the founder of the "Lukoil" company Vagit Alekperov.
Vagit Alekperov provided the head of state with detailed information on the current status of the projects being implemented by the company in Uzbekistan's energy sector.
These include projects for conducting geological exploration and developing promising hydrocarbon deposits, as well as developing a retail network for petroleum products.
Plans for expanding the company's activities in Uzbekistan were also reviewed.
