Strike on buses in Kramatorsk: 33 people killed
After the attack, public transport services were suspended in the cities of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk.

At least 33 civilians were killed and 18 injured as a result of a Russian strike on passenger buses in the city of Kramatorsk in Ukraine's Donetsk region. After the attack, public transport operations were suspended in the cities of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. This was reported by RBC Ukraine, citing the head of the Donetsk region military administration, Vadym Filashkin.
According to him, as a result of Russia's strike on passenger buses in Kramatorsk, a fire broke out in two buses and an open area. Rescuers provided assistance to the victims and extinguished the fire.
Due to the sharp deterioration of the security situation, Filashkin instructed the city military administrations of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk to suspend public transport operations.
Filashkin emphasized that Russian forces are deliberately striking civilians. According to him, buses with passengers have become a target that allows killing more people with a single strike.
"In such conditions, we have no right to put the lives of passengers and drivers at risk. Right now, the safety of the residents of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk is above all else," he said.
Also, three people were killed as a result of a Russian attack in the town of Bilenke, which belongs to the Kramatorsk community. The body of one of the deceased was retrieved by rescuers from under the rubble of a private house.
According to RBC-Ukraine, on the evening of September 22, Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb on a residential area of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, a church and multi-story buildings were damaged. Previously, an aerial bomb had also struck an evacuation point in the city.
On September 13, Russian aviation dropped four aerial bombs on Kramatorsk. At that time, six people were injured as a result of the attack.
