According to the federation, on October 9, the non-professional football section of the Disciplinary Council decided to open disciplinary proceedings against Ronaldo. On October 10, the case materials were sent to the Disciplinary Investigation Commission.
The FPF statement said that a suspension has been applied to the footballer as an additional precautionary measure and that the case will be considered on an urgent basis. The details of the case will not be disclosed until the investigation is completed.
