Saida Mirziyoyeva welcomed Marco Rubio in Samarkand
It was noted that this is the U.S. Secretary of State's first visit to Central Asia.
Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva congratulated US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the occasion of his visit to Uzbekistan in Samarkand.
“This is his first visit to Central Asia,” wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
As part of the visit, negotiations in the “C5+1” format, meetings with business representatives, and the next meeting of the American–Uzbek Business and Investment Council are planned to be held.
“Welcome to Uzbekistan, Mr. Rubio!” noted the Head of the Presidential Administration.
