Marco Rubio: Saida is an exceptionally talented, intelligent, and hardworking person

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised the work of Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan.

“I want to express special thanks to the hosts who brought us all together — the US–Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council and its two co-chairs. One of them is the person I mentioned above, our special representative, Ambassador Sergio Gor. And the Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva.

We simply call her Saida. Because we meet her in various places, at many events. She is an extraordinarily talented, intelligent and hardworking person. Thank you both for the time and energy you have devoted to this work. Tonight would not have happened without you.

Together with them and the B5+1 group, we have combined all the capabilities of our states and the private sector to develop business ties and relations between our countries.

The foundation of such effective cooperation is our shared values and goals. We are independent and sovereign states. Each of us wants the best for our own country and people.

It is precisely these shared values and goals that are enabling our relations to develop so effectively,” said Marco Rubio.
