A meeting of the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Investment was held.
The meeting of the American-Uzbek Business and Investment Council was held with the participation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. This was announced by Saida Mirziyoyeva.
According to her, the meeting, attended by representatives of more than a hundred companies, discussed opportunities for investment, business development, and implementation of joint projects.
Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that the establishment of the Council will expand the prospects for cooperation between the two countries. She also expressed gratitude to Marco Rubio, his wife Mrs. Janette, and Sergio Gor for supporting the initiative and for their readiness to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan.
“Now the main task before us is to turn these reached agreements into concrete practical results, namely investments, modern enterprises, and new jobs. This is also the goal we pursue in developing cooperation with the US” — wrote the head of the Presidential Administration.
