A criminal case has been initiated against a driver who intentionally hit people with a Tracker in Tashkent.
Currently, a criminal case has been opened regarding the situation, and investigative actions are being carried out.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding a Tracker driver intentionally running over a group of people on March 26 in the Yunusobod district of Tashkent city. The capital's IIBB information service reported this.
It is reported that investigative work was carried out based on a video circulating on social networks. The incident occurred at the intersection of Niyozbek Street and Xalqobod Street in the district. Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that a conflict had arisen as a result of a disagreement between citizens.
As the conflict was nearing its end, the Tracker driver moved forward and ran over four citizens. Necessary forensic evidence was collected from the scene.
Regarding this incident, the district prosecutor's office has initiated a criminal case under Article 97 (attempted murder) via Article 25 and Article 277 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. An investigation is currently underway.
Previously, it was reported that in Samarkand, a minor boy hit a 5-year-old girl with a car and fled the scene.
