Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting with Ben Black, CEO of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).

 

 

It was reported that during the conversation, a portfolio of major projects was discussed. DFC assists in attracting American investors to Uzbekistan and also assumes a portion of the investment risks.

 

 

Furthermore, the launch of a joint investment platform is planned for 2026.

 

On April 6th, the U.S.-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council officially commenced its work in Washington. The co-chairs of this council, Saida Mirziyoyeva and Sergio Gor, signed a memorandum of understanding.

 

On April 7th, Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting in Washington with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a business breakfast format.
