Reports had been circulating on social media about an Internal Affairs Officer harassing a minor girl. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' Public Security Department stated that an investigation into the incident is being conducted, as reported.
The Tashkent Regional Internal Affairs Department's press service revealed new details regarding this incident. According to the report, during the inquiries, it was determined that the allegations mentioned in the circulated message were completely untrue.
It was noted that on April 27, 2026, at 00:40 AM, an acquaintance, 22-year-old A.K. (female), called an officer of the Ohangaron City Internal Affairs Department's Public Security Service, stating the need to consult with him.
When the Public Security Service officer arrived, 22-year-old A.K. (female) came out with her 14-year-old female acquaintance, and they got into the officer's car.
"At that time, 18-year-old A.Kh. (the person who claimed to be the girl's sister) arrived with 4 acquaintances, insulted the officer, and started a fight. In reality, he is not a relative of the 14-year-old girl at all," the report states.
The press service stated that due to the involvement of a minor girl in the incident, full details are not yet disclosed, and upon the conclusion of the case, administrative measures will be taken against those who spread false information, and criminal liability measures will be applied if it leads to serious consequences.
