A tandoor capable of cooking up to 300 kilograms of meat was showcased at "Boysun Spring."
This tandir, with a height of over 2 meters and a width of approximately 3.5 meters, was built over the course of a week by skilled craftsmen with great effort and high expertise.

Another noteworthy event has been recorded within the framework of the XIII International Folklore Festival "Boysun Spring," being held in the Boysun district of the Surkhandarya region. A giant tandoor built for the festival guests is being recognized as a true record result due to its size and capabilities.

This tandoor, with a height of over 2 meters and a width of nearly 3.5 meters, was built over the course of a week by skilled craftsmen with great effort and high expertise. During the construction process, special attention was paid to safety, durability, and quality issues, and the tandoor was built in harmony with national traditions and a modern approach.

The capacity of this large tandoor is also noteworthy — it can cook 10-15 lambs at the same time inside it. During the cooking process, high temperature is achieved not by using charcoal, but by the traditional method of burning wood. This ensures the unique taste and aroma of the dish.
According to experts, between 250 kilograms and 300 kilograms of meat are used for a single cooking session in the tandoor. The prepared tandoor meat will be offered to the general public during the festival.

Most notably, during the seven-day festival, it is planned that the meat cooked in this tandoor will be distributed free of charge to foreign tourists, guests, and low-income families. This not only promotes our national dishes but also once again demonstrates the traditions of hospitality and generosity.
Thus, the "Boysun Spring" festival is being remembered not only for its rich cultural program but also for such unique initiatives and record-breaking achievements.
