Moody’s has raised Uzbekistan's credit rating to "Ba2".
Saida Mirziyoyeva assessed this as an important result of the country's economic reforms.

The international rating agency Moody's Ratings has raised Uzbekistan's sovereign credit rating by one notch, assessing it at "Ba2" with a "stable" outlook. Saida Mirziyoyeva announced this on her page here.
According to her, this result is a reflection of the systematic reforms being implemented under the President's leadership to strengthen the country's economic potential.
Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that the improvement in the credit rating practically means attracting investments on more favorable terms, access to cheaper financial resources, the establishment of new enterprises, and the creation of additional jobs.
She also emphasized that efforts to build a strong, open, and competitive economy in Uzbekistan, as well as to ensure a decent future for its citizens, will continue.
