The body of a missing teenager was found in the Karadarya River in the Andijan region.

The body of a missing minor born in 2009, who disappeared in the Baliqchi district of Andijan region, was found in the Qoradaryo River. The regional prosecutor's office reported this.
According to the report, on May 17, citizen Q.M. contacted the regional Department of Internal Affairs, reporting that his minor child had left home on May 16 and not returned, and requested assistance in searching for him.
Based on this appeal, the Baliqchi district prosecutor's office initiated pre-investigation actions.
According to preliminary information, around 3:30 PM on May 16, M.M. went with friends to swim in the Qoradaryo River, which flows through the district, and at that time drowned in the water.
During the search operations, the teenager's body was found on May 20 near the Qoradaryo bridge connecting the Andijan-Namangan route.
Currently, pre-investigation checks are ongoing regarding the incident.
It is noted that the progress of the investigation is under the supervision of the regional prosecutor's office, and a legal decision will be made based on its conclusion.
"Dear parents, do not leave your children unattended, especially during the summer months, do not allow them to swim in unauthorized water bodies, and do not leave your children unsupervised!" the report states.
Earlier, it was reported that a 13-year-old girl drowned in the To'palang River in Surxondaryo.
