President congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on Eid al-Adha.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated compatriots abroad and Muslims in various countries around the world on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, wishing everyone peace and prosperity.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message to the country's population on the occasion of Eid al-Adha via this link.
"The holiday of peace, kindness, and generosity – Eid al-Adha, embodying the noble ideas and deeds inherent in the essence of our holy religion, is becoming even more dear and precious to all of us because it is in harmony and consonance with the meaning and content of our extensive reforms carried out in the spirit of humanism in our country today," the congratulatory message states.
The head of state noted that this year, over 15,000 citizens of Uzbekistan are performing the Hajj rites, and the "President's Hajjis" program has been introduced for the first time.
In his congratulatory message, the President stated that Eid al-Adha is gaining significant importance in strengthening peace, interethnic friendship, and an atmosphere of solidarity in the country, and emphasized that the noble traditions of the holiday serve as a source of inspiration in efforts to support people in need, the elderly, women, and youth, as well as to improve neighborhoods and households.
The head of state noted that in recent years, work on studying and promoting Uzbekistan's ancient history and rich cultural heritage, the scientific and educational legacy of great scholars and thinkers, and the true essence of the Islamic religion has risen to a new level. In this regard, the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent, the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand, and the Burhaniddin Marg'inani Scientific, Educational, and Tourism Complex in Margilan were mentioned as unique landmarks of New Uzbekistan.
According to the congratulatory message, thanks to the conditions created in our country to ensure freedom of religious belief, over 15,000 compatriots are performing the Hajj rites this year.
Furthermore, within the framework of the "President's Hajjis" program, introduced for the first time in history, 100 scholars, elderly individuals, neighborhood veterans who have served the nation, and their family members have been sent on the Hajj pilgrimage.
The President congratulated all pilgrims on Eid al-Adha and wished for their prayers to be accepted. He also expressed hope that the pilgrims returning from the holy journey would actively participate in society as promoters of goodness and enlightenment.
The head of state also sent congratulations to Muslim countries and partner nations abroad, wishing them peace, progress, and prosperity.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev reminded that several days of rest have been declared this year as well on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, and expressed gratitude to the military personnel who are performing their duties even during the holiday.
He also sincerely congratulated compatriots studying and working abroad.
