In the Pop district of Namangan region, a 23-year-old young man drowned. This was reported by Hayot Shamshutdinov announced.

 

According to reports, on May 28 of this year, the young man went with his relatives to one of the recreation areas in the Pop district. He entered the Chodaksoy stream, which flows through the area, with the intention of swimming. According to preliminary information, due to carelessness, the young man drowned in the water and did not resurface.

 

Regarding this incident, the Pop district prosecutor's office is conducting pre-investigation checks.

 

Additionally, as part of the investigation, search efforts for the drowned young man are ongoing, with the involvement of rescuers from the district Emergency Situations Department.
