The area around the Islam Karimov memorial complex in Tashkent is being opened to the public.

In July, the head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, had inspected the recreational parks in the capital. At that time, the condition of the parks in the city was studied, and it was announced that all necessary conditions for regular recreation of the population were planned to be created in them.

Today, large-scale work has begun on the comprehensive development of the park area covering 37 hectares adjacent to the Scientific and Educational Memorial Complex named after the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, in Tashkent, and on turning it into a comfortable open public space for the population.

It was reported that within the framework of the project, work will be carried out to ensure openness and convenience, improve the ecological condition, expand green areas, and develop modern infrastructure in order to adapt the park area to modern urban planning requirements and the needs of the population.

It was noted that these initiatives are part of large-scale efforts aimed at improving the ecological situation in the capital, creating favorable conditions for the population, and expanding green areas and parks on central streets and adjacent territories.
