Two employees who died while performing their service duties were awarded the "Jasorat" medal.
The deceased FVV employee had rescued 7 people from a fire in a Tashkent apartment before losing his own life. The traffic police officer had died as a result of being struck by a Spark.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 22, on August 15, during a fire in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, while rescuing citizens, Emergency Situations Ministry officer Boburmirzo Pardayev, who died, and traffic police officer Khayitbek Karimjonov, who died after being hit by a car driven by a drunk driver while performing official duties in the Fergana region, were posthumously awarded the "Jasorat" (Courage) medal.
Also, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the country's independence, a group of servicemen and law enforcement officers were awarded orders and medals.
The awards were given for services in enhancing the combat capability of the Armed Forces, protecting the country's national interests, ensuring the rule of law and peace, and strengthening stability and public order.
Also recognized was the many years of work of employees who showed bravery, courage, and dedication while performing their official duties, and who contributed to training highly qualified personnel and educating the younger generation in the spirit of love and loyalty to the Motherland.
