“They wanted to save each other”
The FVV provided information on the search operations for the father and children who drowned in Chorvoq.

Search operations continue for a father and his two sons who drowned in the Charvak reservoir in the Bostanliq district of Tashkent region on September 2. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on September 6 that the search operations have not yet been completed.
According to the ministry, a large group of rescuers and divers is working at the scene. Search operations are being carried out continuously around the clock.
According to preliminary information, a family was cruising on a boat in the Charvak reservoir. They stopped to take photos in an area where swimming is prohibited and later decided to go swimming.
According to rescue squad commander Rustam Buriyev, the family members did not use life jackets while swimming. When there was wind and waves in the water, the son who entered the water first got a cramp in his leg. To save him, his father, and then his second son, entered the water. As a result, all three drowned.
The driver operating the boat had warned the citizens not to swim without life jackets. However, they did not heed the advice.
At the time of the incident, the man's wife and sister were also on the boat. The women called for help. The boat driver also entered the water and tried to save them, but it was impossible to rescue all three people.
"At present, five rescue squads have been deployed. Seven rescue brigades are carrying out search and rescue operations in the water. Based on our minister's order, rescue squads from the Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions have been deployed. As we can see, a special headquarters has been established. All ministry leadership and additional partner services are conducting search operations. God willing, we will succeed in finding these drowned citizens in the near future," says the rescuer.
