Conor McGregor has been cleared to return to UFC.

McGregor will hold his next fight on July 11 at the UFC 330 tournament in Las Vegas.

Conor McGregor has been cleared to return to UFC.

Former UFC champion in two weight classes, Irishman Conor McGregor has officially received clearance to return to the octagon. This is reported by The Sun.

The disqualification imposed on McGregor by Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) – the organization handling doping control in the UFC – in October 2025, ended on March 20th, after 18 months.

The Irish fighter was penalized in 2024 for failing to submit to doping tests three times, on June 13th, and September 19th and 20th.

UFC athletes are always required to provide accurate information about their whereabouts because they can be called for testing without prior warning.

According to The Sun's source, the fighter's representatives held negotiations with UFC leadership in Las Vegas last week, and the source described these talks as "positive." McGregor's participation in the main event of the UFC 330 tournament on July 11th is expected.

Earlier, McGregor stated that he could return at a tournament planned for June 14th at the White House or at one of the upcoming UFC shows in the summer of 2026.

US President Donald Trump announced that a UFC tournament would be held on the White House grounds on June 14th to mark the country's 250th anniversary. However, the full list of participants announced on March 8th did not include the Irish fighter.

The 37-year-old McGregor has not entered the octagon since July 2021. Back then, at the UFC 264 tournament, American Justin Poirier lost by technical knockout due to a leg injury. McGregor's overall MMA record stands at 22 wins and 6 losses.
