The U.S.-Uzbekistan Business Council has launched in Washington.

Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting in Washington with the co-chair of the U.S.-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council, Ambassador Sergio Gor. She announced this on her Telegram page.

 

It was reported that the meeting took place on the eve of the official launch of the U.S.-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council's activities. The parties discussed the main directions of business cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.

 

"Undoubtedly, this structure will become an effective platform serving to further strengthen business ties between Uzbekistan and the United States. The firm political will of the Presidents of our countries is creating a solid foundation for this," said Saida Mirziyoyeva.

 

Furthermore, a memorandum of understanding was signed at the conclusion of the meeting.

 

Previously, the Head of the Presidential Administration had also met with Sergio Gor at Mar-a-Lago on April 6.
