The advertising banners in the "Palace of Friendship of Peoples" area have been removed.
It has been determined that advertising banners were installed on this cultural heritage site without any permission or authorization.

The Cultural Heritage Agency called on all state institutions and entrepreneurs to treat cultural heritage sites with respect and announced that the advertising banners in the area of the "Palace of Friendship of Peoples" have been removed.
According to the Agency's information, monitoring work was carried out on April 14, 2026, in the area of the "Palace of Friendship of Peoples" located on Furqat Street, Shaykhantokhur District, Tashkent City. Specialists from the Cultural Heritage Agency and its Tashkent City regional administration participated in it.
The inspections were conducted based on the requirements of the regulations approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' Resolution No. 649 dated October 15, 2021. As a result, it was determined that the advertising banners at this cultural heritage site were installed arbitrarily, without any permission.
It is noted that Article 26 of the Republic of Uzbekistan's Law "On Advertising" establishes the main requirements for outdoor advertising and information objects (structures). According to it, placing outdoor advertising on tangible cultural heritage sites is prohibited. In connection with the situation, the illegal banners were immediately removed, and a warning was issued regarding taking appropriate measures against those responsible.
The Agency emphasized that such situations can cause damage to cultural heritage and called on all organizations and entrepreneurs to strictly adhere to the established procedures.
