On August 21, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov held a meeting in Tashkent dedicated to the work being carried out in the sector, the implementation of reforms, and priority tasks for the future.
It was attended by Azizkhon Shovkatov, Deputy Mayor of Tashkent for tourism, culture, cultural heritage, and mass communications, heads of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Culture, and officials responsible for the sphere of culture and art in the capital.

The issue of personnel was also considered at the meeting.
Bekzod Bakhromov was appointed head of the Tashkent City Culture Department. Previously, he served as deputy head of this department.

Shukurillo Isroilov was appointed deputy head of the Tashkent City Culture Department. Before his appointment, he worked as a master of the spoken word at the state institution "Uzbekkonsert."

At the end of the meeting, it was emphasized that Tashkent must achieve exemplary indicators in all areas of culture and art by the end of the year. The newly appointed leaders were tasked with effectively implementing reforms, eliminating existing shortcomings, and ensuring the fulfillment of the assigned tasks.
