In Samarkand, individuals who attempted to sell 2 hectares of land for $490,000 were detained.

An illegal situation related to land sale was detected in Samarkand. The State Security Service reported this.

According to the report, a person born in 1993, residing in the city of Samarkand, conspired with a citizen born in 1983, living in the Samarkand district. He stated that he would sell a 2-hectare land plot, allocated to the citizen's spouse for establishing a greenhouse, to a buyer for 490,000 US dollars and would arrange the documents through his influential acquaintances, demanding an advance payment of 50,000 US dollars.

During an operational event conducted jointly by employees of the State Security Service, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, and the Internal Affairs Department, the person born in 1993 was caught red-handed while receiving the 50,000 dollars.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these two citizens, and investigative actions are underway.

For reference, the allocation and sale of land plots are carried out transparently and legally only through the "E-AUKSION" electronic trading platform.
