An attraction collapses in Andijan: there are injured people

In the Z.M. Bobur Park ("Bog'ishamol") in the Andijan region, an attraction with people inside collapsed after a chain broke. Social networks circulated videos showing parts of the attraction scattered on the ground after the incident.

 

The Regional Emergency Department reported that on April 26, the iron structure of one of the attractions in this park broke. The Emergency Department's statement noted that 2 citizens sustained minor injuries and were provided with qualified medical assistance.

 

However, according to unconfirmed sources, at least 7 people were injured as a result of the incident. Additionally, networks are calling for caution when using attractions, stating that many of them have not been inspected.

 

The Andijan Regional Emergency Department has not provided information about the causes of the accident.
