The person who committed violence at the "Navoiy" border customs post was imprisoned for 10 days.

The person in the video, which has been widely circulated on social media and has raised public suspicions about the emergence of street mafia at a customs post, has been arrested, reports the press service of the Customs Committee.

It is reported that this individual initially demanded 500,000 soums, and then another 100,000 soums, for transporting another citizen's cargo under the guise of personal belongings, i.e., for acting as a smuggler. As a result, a disagreement arose, and the situation escalated into a conflict and insults.

Regarding the incident, the Tashkent District Internal Affairs Department formalized documents under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and by court decision, a 10-day administrative arrest was imposed.

Furthermore, the press service emphasized that service activities at border customs posts are organized based on the requirements of current legislation and called on citizens not to trust fraudsters.
