Reports have spread on social media that a patrol service officer in Ohangaron took underage girls to a mountainous area and harassed them. The Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that an investigation has been launched into this incident.
According to the information, the patrol service officer forced a 14-year-old girl and her friend into a car, took them to a remote area, and committed illegal acts. The brother of one of the girls found them through the phone's location tracking.
The Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that an investigation has been launched into the incident by the Internal Security Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation with the prosecutor's office. All participants in the incident and the circumstances that arose have been identified. The officer has been dismissed from his position.
“If the stated circumstances are confirmed, a strict legal assessment will be given to his actions, including measures up to criminal prosecution,” the report says.
