In Tashkent, the beating of a woman with a disability by preventive inspectors has been denied.
The Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs has clarified the reports circulating on social media.

Reports had spread on social media that preventive inspectors had beaten a woman with a disability. The Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department provided an official statement regarding this incident.
It was reported that Sh.Q., born in 1995 (who does not have a disability), had been living together without a formal marriage with her acquaintance X.M., born in 1996, from January to August 2025 in a house located in the Mirzo Ulugbek district (an apartment belonging to X.M.).
In December 2025, citizen X.M. rented out this apartment to Z.S., born in 1999. On December 10, Sh.Q. arrived at this apartment with her mother G.Q. and sister Z.Q., and got into a quarrel with the citizens living there as tenants. Local preventive inspectors A. Kholiyorov and U. Khamidullayev arrived at the scene and attempted to stop the altercation. During this process, Sh.Q. lay down in front of the entrance door to the apartment, declared she would not leave, and continued the quarrel. Z.S.'s father, S.S., also became involved in this conflict, and G.Q. sustained minor injuries.
According to the report, regarding this incident, administrative protocols were drawn up against citizens Sh.Q., G.Q., and Z.Q. under Articles 183 and 194 of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility, against Z.S. under Article 183, and against S.S. under Article 52. The collected documents were submitted to the Mirzo Ulugbek District Court for Criminal Cases.
However, it was determined that although Sh.Q., G.Q., and Z.Q. were summoned to court several times, they did not appear.
