A new intelligent system for bird protection has been introduced at Tashkent Airport.

The "AVES Airport" bird protection system has been introduced at Tashkent Airport. Uzbekistan Airports reported this.

It is noted that this system, developed in Germany, is one of the most modern solutions in the ornithological field of flight safety.

The system uses artificial intelligence to automatically detect, track, and scare away birds in high-risk areas. It significantly reduces the human factor.

The system operates fully autonomously, activating and deactivating independently based on aircraft movement.

Cameras can detect birds at distances of up to 1000 meters during the day and up to 400 meters at night, ensuring timely action even in complex weather conditions.

Directed sound and ultrasonic signals are used to scare away birds. The signals constantly change to prevent birds from getting used to the effect. At the same time, the system regulates the volume based on distance and environment, reducing negative impact on the ecosystem.

Additionally, multiple devices work in coordination to guide birds to safe zones. The system continuously collects data to facilitate analysis and management for specialists.

The system is also capable of detecting, tracking, and scaring away up to 256 birds simultaneously.
