In Uzbekistan, a portion of the promotional expenses of local tour operators abroad will be covered.

New financial mechanisms aimed at developing the tourism sector and increasing convenience for tourists will be introduced in Uzbekistan. This was reported on the Telegram channel "Huquqiy axborot".

According to the decision, starting from September 1, 2026, a number of expenses will be partially reimbursed from the Tourism Support Fund in the manner established by the Cabinet of Ministers.

In particular, until December 31, 2030, part of the transportation, accommodation, and meal expenses of representatives of tour operators invited from foreign countries to attract tourists to Uzbekistan will be covered.

Additionally, up to 25 percent of the expenses of local tour operators for promotional events abroad aimed at increasing the flow of foreign tourists will be reimbursed, but not exceeding 500 million soums.

In accordance with the decision, a procedure will be introduced for financing a specific portion of expenses incurred by private entrepreneurs for organizing cultural, mass, concert-entertainment, and cultural events for tourists based on a clearly defined location and schedule, for up to 1 year.

In this case, the financing limit will be determined by the Board of the Tourism Support Fund, provided that entrepreneurs gradually cover the costs of organizing these events themselves.
