A meeting with People's Artist of Uzbekistan Farrukh Zakirov was held at the Children's Music and Art School No. 7 in Tashkent. Students and teachers of the school participated in the event.

Earlier, it was announced that, in accordance with the Resolution No. PQ-137 of the President of Uzbekistan, this educational institution was named after Farrukh Zakirov.
During the meeting, participants familiarized themselves with the school's activities, lesson processes, and creative environment. The event was also attended by Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov, First Deputy Minister Avazkhan Tadjikhanov, and representatives of the field.

At the conclusion of the event, the first meeting of the artistic-pedagogical council was held at the school, where a number of issues aimed at developing the educational process and supporting young talents were discussed.

In particular, proposals were made to strengthen the school's material and technical base, accelerate capital repair work, notate and publish Farrukh Zakirov's creative legacy, as well as establish a children's ensemble named "Yalla."
Furthermore, it was decided to establish the activities of a Youth Creative Laboratory and performance skill schools in the pop direction based on the "master-apprentice" traditions, and to organize a summer club at the school, attracting the three most talented students from regional children's music and art schools to this club.

It was noted that expenses related to the participation of 5 talented students of the summer club, as well as their teachers and concertmasters, in prestigious international competitions will be covered from the State Budget.

It was established that, on a trial basis in 2026-2027, students (groups) of the School and summer club who become winners and prize-winners in prestigious international competitions, as well as the teachers (concertmasters) who trained them, will be encouraged with a one-time monetary reward in the following amounts.

The participation of talented students and creative groups of the School and summer club in the artistic part of nationwide holiday programs and high-level conferences was planned.
