A statue of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur will be erected in Andijan and Islamabad.
Information was provided regarding the sketches of the monument to the President, compositional solutions, and scientific-artistic approaches to depicting the figure of Babur.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed presentations of construction projects in various sectors. This was reported by the President's press service here.
It was reported that the head of state was presented with a project for a monument dedicated to the great statesman, commander, and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, which is planned to be erected as part of an architectural ensemble in Bobur city, Andijan region.

In order to honor the memory of the great ancestor, and to deeply convey his rich scientific and literary heritage, statecraft thinking, and contribution to world civilization to the younger generation, the monument is being created based on a special concept and artistic solution.
The President was informed about the sketches of the monument, compositional solutions, and scientific-artistic approaches to depicting the image of Babur.

It was noted that the image of the historical figure is being developed by Uzbek scientists in collaboration with foreign colleagues, based on deep research of historical sources, manuscripts, miniatures, and examples of cultural heritage.
Also, it was recalled that during the President's state visit to Pakistan, one of the parks in Islamabad was named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. The project for a monument planned to be erected in this park dedicated to the great ancestor was also reviewed.

The head of state emphasized the importance of deeply revealing the image of Babur in the monuments not only as a great writer and poet, but also as a skilled commander, powerful founder of a state, and wise ruler. It was noted that the overall appearance of the monument should clearly express his will, state-building potential, high spirituality, and constructive ideas.
During the presentation, the President was also informed about projects being developed to improve the material and technical base of the Abu Rayhan Beruni International Boarding School, develop tourism and transport infrastructure in Bukhara city, and modernize cultural centers in districts.
In conclusion, the head of state gave relevant instructions on further improving the projects and thoroughly developing them based on advanced experience.
