By the decree of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President's Advisor on Sustainable Development of the Aral Sea Region, Senator Tursinkhan Aidarovich Khudaibergenov, was awarded the Order of "For Selfless Service".

 

The decree notes that he was recognized for his many years of selfless work in state bodies, his great services in the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country, as well as for his effective activities in developing the Aral Sea region, improving the region's infrastructure, improving the ecological situation, and solving the problems of the population.

 

It was also emphasized that the award was given in connection with the senator's active participation in socio-political life and on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

 

Khudaibergenov led the Ministry of Internal Affairs from March 2010 to December 2016. After that, he was appointed to the position of State Advisor for monitoring and coordinating work with appeals of individuals and legal entities to the President.
