A Compliance Control Service will be established within the Supreme Court.
The compliance service is engaged in preventing corruption and monitoring employees' adherence to the requirements of legislation and professional ethics.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of the compliance control system in courts, as reported.
The discussion focused on proposals aimed at early detection of corruption risks in the judicial system, preventing conflicts of interest, and increasing the responsibility of employees.
Specifically, to prevent corruption among court staff, it was proposed to establish a Compliance Control Service within the Supreme Court. This service would report directly to the Chairman of the Supreme Court and consist of compliance inspectors operating in regional courts.
During the presentation, a number of other measures to prevent corruption in the judicial system were also discussed. In particular, a list of high-risk positions in court administrations will be approved, and measures will be taken to digitize high-risk processes and reduce the human factor.
It was also announced that plans are underway to introduce an automated electronic system for submitting and analyzing income and asset declarations for judges and court staff, as well as to launch information systems that identify risks of corruption and disciplinary violations.
Furthermore, it was proposed to organize the recruitment system for court staff based on open competition and meritocracy principles, and to introduce modern mechanisms for assessing the professional and ethical qualities of candidates.
Restrictions for employees will include prohibitions on activities and entrepreneurship that lead to conflicts of interest, as well as opening accounts abroad.
The presentation also considered a proposal to introduce specialized service uniforms for court staff. It was noted that this would serve to strengthen employee responsibility, service discipline, and ethical culture.
The head of state emphasized that strengthening the environment of transparency, integrity, and justice in the judicial system is a crucial factor in increasing citizens' trust in courts, and gave instructions for the thorough development of the proposed initiatives.
