The deputy mayor of Karshi was fined 41 million soums.
As a result of the inspection, it was confirmed that Nurbek Turdiyev had forced employees into compulsory labor.

The first deputy mayor of Qarshi city in Kashkadarya region was held administratively liable for forcing employees to work on weekends. The State Labor Inspectorate announced this.
According to the report, a complaint about the deputy mayor forcing employees to work on weekends and treating them offensively was investigated in accordance with established procedures.
Based on the results of the inspection, the use of forced labor was confirmed. In this regard, an administrative fine was imposed on the official under Article 51 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A fine of 100 times the base calculation amount (41 million 200 thousand soums) was set.
Additionally, a submission was made to the administration of Kashkadarya region regarding the consideration of his actions by the Ethics Commission for treating employees offensively.
The State Labor Inspectorate called on employers to strictly comply with the requirements of labor legislation.
