Uzbekistan's economy is expected to exceed 180 billion dollars in 2026 — President
The head of state emphasized that Uzbekistan is always open to investors who are ready for equal and mutually beneficial cooperation.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his speech at the plenary session of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, emphasized that Uzbekistan's economy is growing at a rapid pace and announced that the country's gross domestic product is expected to exceed 180 billion dollars by the end of 2026.
"Many of you may recall that at the first forum four years ago, we set a goal to increase Uzbekistan's gross domestic product to 100 billion dollars by the end of 2026. Our rapidly growing economy is expected to exceed 180 billion dollars this year!" – said the President.
According to the President, last year Uzbekistan's economy grew by 7.7 percent, and 43 billion dollars in investments were attracted to the economy. Additionally, the country's international reserves exceeded 70 billion dollars.
The President noted that over the past years, more than 150 billion dollars in foreign investments have been attracted to Uzbekistan, of which 123 billion dollars were accounted for in the last five years.
The head of state emphasized that Uzbekistan is always open to investors who are ready for equal and mutually beneficial cooperation.
