"Uzbekgidroenergo" JSC has reached major international cooperation agreements at the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
Uzbekhydroenergo JSC expanded cooperation with companies from the USA, China, India, and Europe within the framework of the forum.

Within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, JSC "Uzbekhydroenergo" held a series of important bilateral meetings with representatives of the US "77 Construction USA Corp.", China's "China Huaneng Group", India's "Adani Group", Japan's "MUFG Bank", Germany's "AKA Bank", Croatia's "Koncar" and "In Foro Viridi", the World Bank Group, and the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Afghanistan.

During the forum, special attention was paid to the implementation of major investment projects in the hydropower sector, expanding public-private partnership (PPP) mechanisms, attracting international financing, and introducing advanced technologies.

As a result of the meetings:
— Agreements were reached with "77 Construction USA Corp." to consider cooperation in EPC+F and PPP formats, and participation in the Pskom HPP project;
— Cooperation with the World Bank Group was expanded on the Khojikent PSPP project, MIGA guarantees, and grant programs;
— A memorandum was signed with "China Huaneng Group" on implementing major promising investment projects based on the PPP principle;
— An agreement was reached with "Adani Group" to establish a joint working group and jointly develop investment projects;
— Mechanisms for long-term financing of major projects were discussed with MUFG Bank and AKA Bank;
— Cooperation was established with "Koncar" and "In Foro Viridi" on small and medium HPP projects;
— Areas of cooperation were agreed upon with the Afghan side on the supply and design of hydropower equipment.

This forum significantly expanded the geography of international cooperation for JSC "Uzbekhydroenergo" and ensured concrete practical results in implementing major investment projects.
