The price of AI-92 gasoline in Uzbekistan has reached a record high.
The price of AI-92 gasoline on the Republican Commodity Exchange reached 13.919 million soums per ton.

The price of AI-92 gasoline at the Uzbekistan Republican Commodity Exchange has updated its historical record. This was reported by the Spot publication, citing exchange trading data.
On June 29, the price of one ton of AI-92 gasoline amounted to 13.919 million soums. This is 1.1 percent higher than the previous trading day and was recorded as the highest indicator in the exchange's history.
According to data, since the beginning of June, the price of AI-92 gasoline has increased by 1.473 million soums, or nearly 11.8 percent.
The sharpest price increase was observed in the first half of the month. In particular, on June 4, one ton of gasoline was sold for 12.476 million soums, while by June 8, its price had risen by 10.5 percent in just four days, reaching 13.788 million soums. Over the following two weeks, the price fluctuated in the range of 13.7–13.8 million soums, and on June 29, it rose again, marking a new historical maximum.
Against the backdrop of rising prices, the supply of fuel on the exchange also decreased. While 3,791 tons of AI-92 gasoline were offered for trading on June 1, by June 23 this figure had nearly halved to 1,898 tons. As of June 29, the supply volume had recovered to 3,123.2 tons, but this did not affect the price decline.
Spot notes that the sharp price increase coincided with a period of fuel shortages in Russia. This was caused by unscheduled repair work at some oil refineries following attacks by Ukrainian drones.
