President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was informed about the implementation of tasks set in the energy sector and preparations for the autumn-winter season.
It was noted that at the videoconference meeting held on July 27, a number of tasks were set regarding the stability of electricity and gas supply, reducing accidents and energy losses, and improving management in the sector. The presentation reviewed the implementation of these assignments and future plans.
It was reported that a special headquarters is currently operating in the Yangiyo'l district to improve electricity and gas supply. Based on this experience, it is planned to establish such a system in 13 more districts and later extend it to other regions.
Additionally, measures are being strengthened to ensure transparency in the process of formalizing technical conditions for connecting entrepreneurs to electricity and gas networks and to prevent corrupt practices.
Within the framework of preparations for the autumn-winter season, work is being carried out to renew problematic networks and equipment, reduce energy losses, eliminate the causes of emergency outages, and improve energy efficiency, it was noted.
The President gave instructions to the Ministry of Energy to establish a unified and effective management system in the network, implement investment projects in a timely manner, and systematically organize preparations for the autumn-winter season.
Furthermore, the "Regional Electric Networks" JSC was tasked with increasing the stability of electricity supply and modernizing infrastructure, while the Uzenergoinspektsiya was assigned to strengthen control over the rational use of energy resources, reduce losses, and accelerate energy audits of large consumers.
The head of state emphasized the need to implement all measures in a targeted manner based on precise calculations and to ensure stable electricity and gas supply to the population and economic sectors.
