The family of the traffic police inspector who died in Tashkent will be placed under state protection.
A YPD officer performing his service duties in Mirobod district was hit by a vehicle moving at high speed.

The Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs has issued an official statement regarding the death of Road Patrol Service Inspector, Junior Sergeant Khasilbek Eshnazarov. It was announced that the family members of the deceased officer will be taken under state protection.
Khasilbek Eshnazarov had been serving in internal affairs bodies since 2022. He began his career in the Yashnobod district and worked in patrol-post service from 2024. Since 2025, he was assigned to serve as an Inspector of the Road Patrol Service of the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs.
During his service, he actively participated in preventing offenses, maintaining public order, and ensuring traffic safety. He participated in ensuring public safety at hundreds of major and mass events.
During his career, he identified 1,392 offenses, of which 324 constituted gross violations. He stopped 14 drunk drivers. He also identified 52 cases related to driving in the opposite direction, driving a vehicle without documents, and disobeying a prohibitory traffic light signal, ensuring that legal measures were taken.
On February 25 of this year, during night duty on Nukus Street in the Mirabad district, he was hit by a minor who was driving a BMW car at high speed after stealing it. As a result, Khasilbek Eshnazarov sustained severe bodily injuries and died. The deceased was 33 years old and was the father of two daughters and one son.
Regarding this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 3, paragraph "d" of Article 104 and Part 1 of Article 267 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural order. Investigative actions are ongoing.
The official statement emphasizes that the family members of the officer who died while performing his official duties will be fully supported by the state, and social protection measures will be taken in accordance with the procedure established by law.
