It has been announced that assistance is being provided to stranded Uzbek citizens at Doha Airport.
On February 28, 48 Uzbek citizens returning to Tashkent were stranded at the airport due to the temporary closure of Qatari airspace.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Doha reports that against the backdrop of instability in the Middle East, no casualties have been identified among the approximately 600 Uzbek citizens currently in Qatar.
According to the "Dunyo" news agency, on February 28, 48 Uzbeks returning to Tashkent were stranded at Doha airport due to the temporary closure of Qatari airspace.
Airlines were unable to provide passengers with hotel accommodation due to the emergency situation. Embassy staff immediately arrived at the airport to assess the situation. As a result of negotiations, the citizens, including compatriots who requested assistance via social networks, were temporarily accommodated in hotels.
"Once the Qatari airspace reopens and flights resume, the safe return of our citizens to the Homeland will be ensured. The situation is under the constant supervision of the Embassy, and the passenger list is being regularly updated," the report states.
The diplomatic mission urges our compatriots not to panic, to rely only on official sources, and for security reasons, to avoid crowded places and comply with local laws and regulations.
Regarding citizens' inquiries, it is possible to contact the Embassy's Consul, Otabek Muratov, at: +974 5141 1001.
