An 18-month-old baby was tortured by Israeli soldiers in Gaza.
Medical examinations revealed that the child had a cigarette burn on his foot and injuries inflicted with a metal object.

In Gaza, an 18-month-old Palestinian toddler was tortured by Israeli forces during his father's arrest. Al Jazeera reported on this.
Medical examinations revealed that the child's leg had been burned with a cigarette and injured with a metal object.
According to reports, Israeli soldiers arrested a man named Usama Abu Nassar and tortured his child in front of him during interrogation. The child's mother stated that the soldiers extinguished a cigarette on her son Karim's leg and stabbed him with a metal object.
The child was released approximately 10 hours later and handed over to his family in the Maghazi area through the Red Crescent Society. The child's father remains in detention.
The Israeli military denied the allegations, stating the incident occurred on March 19 in the "Yellow Line" area. They emphasized that the individual, the father of the three-year-old child, moved despite military warnings, and they fired warning shots to the side of the road.
In their statement, the military said the child's injuries were likely related to fragments scattered as a result of the shooting. They also stated that the child underwent a medical examination during the interrogation, was provided with food and water, and was then handed over to Red Crescent representatives.
The Israeli military stated that the detained individual was arrested after identifying himself as a Hamas member and admitting to entering Israeli territory during the October 7 events.
