It was determined that a young man from Syrdarya stole money from citizens' bank cards through a virus program.
He distributed malicious software through Telegram and embezzled money from more than 200 citizens.

A person who distributed malicious applications via the Telegram messenger and withdrew money from citizens' bank cards has been apprehended. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
It was reported that a citizen living in the Karmana district appealed to the internal affairs bodies, informing them that 22 million soums had been withdrawn from a bank plastic card belonging to his spouse in an unknown manner. Operational-search activities were carried out regarding the incident.
It was established that the person involved in the crime is a citizen of the Syrdarya region, born in 2004, who spread false information about the possibility of supposedly earning a permanent income through the Paynet payment system. In this way, he persuaded nine citizens living in various regions to register as individual entrepreneurs and used their accounts.
Furthermore, the suspect distributed malicious applications in APK format via the Telegram messenger, infecting citizens' mobile devices with a virus. As a result, he withdrew funds from the bank cards linked to these devices and took a 5–7 percent share from each transaction.
During urgent measures, this individual was apprehended by employees of the Department for Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technology of the Navoi Regional Department of Internal Affairs. To date, 121 cybercrimes committed by him have been identified.
According to information, the suspect illegally appropriated over 2 billion soums from bank cards belonging to a total of 211 citizens and spent this money on personal needs.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Part 3, paragraph "b" of Article 169 of the Criminal Code. The measure of restraint in the form of detention has been applied against the suspect, and preliminary investigation actions are ongoing.
