In Russia, Putin's rating has been declining for the sixth consecutive week.

The All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center has reported that the approval rating of President Vladimir Putin's activities has been declining for the sixth consecutive week.

According to the center's data, from April 6–12, this indicator stood at 66.7%, having decreased by 1.1 percentage points in a week. At the same time, the level of trust in Putin also fell by 1.8 percentage points to 72%.

Furthermore, the level of support for the ruling "United Russia" party has decreased to 27.3% (–2.4 percentage points). Meanwhile, other political forces represented in the State Duma are showing a dynamic of growth in their ratings.

In particular, the "New People" party was rated at 12.4% (+0.1 p.p.), the Communist Party (CPRF) at 10.9% (+0.6 p.p.), the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) at 10.8% (+0.3 p.p.), and "A Just Russia" at 5.2% (+0.3 p.p.).

Another sociological center—the Public Opinion Foundation—noted that the president's rating had declined in March, but reported an increase in April. According to a report published on April 17, 76% of respondents positively assessed Putin's activities (74% on March 29).

It is noted that in recent weeks, both centers have been publishing political ratings later than before.

Experts have suggested that the blocking of the Telegram messenger in Russia and mobile internet restrictions in some regions could be contributing to the decline in ratings. Additionally, rising prices and the negative impact of the war are also among the key factors.
