Investigation launched over Golden House: Over 1 billion soums returned to consumers
In 2025-2026, over 70 complaints were filed against this construction company with the Competition Committee.

An investigation was conducted into the activities of "GOLDEN HOUSE PROPERTY GROUP" LLC, and over 1 billion soums were recalculated in favor of consumers. The Competition Committee reported on this.
It was reported that a total of 74 complaints were received by the Competition Committee regarding the activities of "GOLDEN HOUSE PROPERTY GROUP" LLC in 2025-2026.
Following the committee's intervention, 54 of these complaints were resolved positively as a result of the signing of mutual settlement agreements between the developer and citizens or the resolution of disputes through mediation before court, and funds amounting to 1,128,669,000 soums were recalculated in favor of consumers.
In 2025, 40 citizens dissatisfied with the company appealed, of which 35 (87%) were resolved positively. Of these, 31 were settled through agreements between the developer and the citizens, and in another 4 cases, a total of 1,128,669,635 soums were returned in favor of the citizens.
Nevertheless, during the first quarter of 2026, 34 citizens appealed, dissatisfied with the activities of this construction company. Of these, 19 (56%) were satisfied, while in 5 cases, proceedings were initiated according to the established procedure, and for 10 appeals, an inspection was appointed after notifying the authorized organization.
The Competition Committee also noted on social networks that complaints regarding this particular construction company and the sector in general are increasing. In this regard, all developers were warned to set clear and realistic deadlines when concluding contracts with consumers, as well as not to restrict the rights established by law.
The committee also reminded that, in accordance with Article 65 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the state guarantees entrepreneurial freedom while ensuring the priority of consumer rights.
According to information, while 19,000 appeals were received by the Competition Committee in 2023 and over 28,000 in 2024, this figure is observed to have reached nearly 54,000 by 2025.
