It was reported that a previously monitored individual, a resident of Margilan who had previously been convicted for a drug-related crime, was caught red-handed while receiving 24 kg 475 grams of "hashish" that had been secretly hidden in a location in Khujaabad district by his acquaintances from Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 2 of Article 246 (smuggling) and Part 5 of Article 273 (transportation of narcotic drugs, their analogues or psychotropic substances...) of the Criminal Code, and the preventive measure of "detention" has been applied.
As part of the investigative actions, efforts are underway to identify his criminal accomplices.
